For All the Seasons is A Girl Named Genny’s third studio album—and the first one I’ve had the privilege of being a part of. At the start of the process, Ray Mahar, the band’s frontman and songwriter, came to the studio with Sean Greif, whose fresh perspective brought an exciting new dimension to the band’s sound right from the start. Our goal was to stay true to the core of what A Girl Named Genny sounds and feels like, while expanding the scope, sonically. We really dug into the details of every sound to bring the songs to life the best way we could.
