I joined Animal Sounds as their drummer in 2022 after moving back to Rochester from Buffalo. Together, we worked on this collection of songs to serve as the final release for the project, as I—and a few other members—were transitioning to new endeavors.

We spent significant time refining these tracks, enlisting Joe Chudyk at Wicked Squid Studios here in Rochester to help us engineer drum tones on a couple of songs. The rest of the album was recorded and mixed in my studio.

Labyrinth is packed with carefully crafted guitarmonies and intricate, twisty forms, taking listeners on a journey through an array of musical ideas.
