Ennui was the first record I produced for a client in the early days of my home studio. It marked a pivotal moment for me, as it was the first project where I wasn’t playing any primary instruments on the recordings. Collaborating with musicians I hadn’t met before taught me the art of compromise—balancing the band’s creative vision with my own. Navigating diverse personalities and opinions was a challenge, but it became a valuable learning experience. Looking back, I’m proud of the music we created, and I still enjoy revisiting some of the tracks from this album.
