Stay Pissed marked a stylistic shift for me. While I enjoyed heavy music in high school, hardcore punk brought an entirely different kind of energy. As the drummer for this band, I came to appreciate the raw intensity required to bring the energy out of this music—it felt like a form of release. This project was also one of the first paid gigs I ever took, offering invaluable lessons in working with diverse personalities and honing my skills in capturing and mixing heavier, more aggressive guitar and bass tones. It was a defining experience in my growth as both a musician and producer.
