I joined The Sideways as a drummer in the spring of 2022, and after a very full summer of gigs around the northeast US, we began working on the record “Fair Weather”. It took us over a year of scattered recording sessions with many guest musicians, but we brought frontman and songwriter Joe Stehle’s songs to life. We were looking for a strong 70s soul, R&B, and disco vibe imbued with a more modern production aesthetic, very groove focused. The arrangements really bring out the energy of the songs, and make the album a full and exciting experience.
